%O The Alexeïeff Collection in the Archives Françaises du Film: assessment methodology for a preventive conservation plan
%X O presente artigo apresenta a metodologia adotada para o desenvolvimento de um plano de conservação preventiva para a Coleção Alexeïeff, pertencente aos Archives Françaises du Film (AFF). Para tanto, destacamos dois aspectos: 1) a adoção de um método comparativo para identificar as disparidades nas condições de guarda de dois tipos de acervo pertencentes a uma mesma instituição; 2) a relevância de um diálogo claro e inclusivo entre o consultor de conservação preventiva e a equipe da instituição avaliada, a fim de que o plano de conservação preventiva seja factível e adaptado à realidade da instituição para a qual ele foi pensado.
%X This article presents the methodology adopted for the development of a preventive conservation plan for the Alexeïeff's collection, belonging to the Archives Françaises du Film (AFF). To this end, we highlight two aspects: 1) the adoption of a comparative method to specify what were the differences in the guard conditions of two types of collections belonging to the same institution; 2) the importance of a clear and inclusive dialogue between the preventive conservation consultant and the staff of the institution evaluated, in order that the preventive conservation plan is feasible and adapted to the reality of the institution for which it was designed.
